Ó³»´«Ã½ preserves, expands, and disseminates knowledge in the sciences, technology, arts, humanities, and professions, while embracing a philosophy of learning strongly rooted in the traditions of the liberal arts. During the fall 2025 semester, there were 59 freshmen and 96 undergraduate students for a total of 155 National Merit Scholars enrolled at Ó³»´«Ã½. The middle 50% high school GPA for the summer/fall 2025 freshman class was 4.2-4.5 and middle 50% SAT scores were 1350-1430.
With 46,184 students enrolled in fall 2025, the student body was comprised of 71.6% undergraduates, 23.8% graduates and 4.5% unclassified. Women accounted for 57.8% of the enrollment and minorities made up 46% of student enrollment.
The average age for undergraduate students is 20.5. Students hailed from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. 80% of all students were Floridians, and 92% were from the United States. Foreign students from more than 130 countries are represented, comprising 7.87% (fall, 2024) student enrollment, and 20 foreign countries each contributed 40 or more students.
